The Southwest Commission on Religious Studies was established in 1974 to encourage, support, and coordinate scholarly activities in the field of religious studies in the Southwest. The Commission hosts its annual meeting each Spring. The Commission encourages related scholarly organizations, university departments, and other faculty and research groups to coordinate their meetings with the SWCRS as well as to take advantage of the SWCRS meeting planning and the excellent venue/location of the hotel. Meetings could be held concurrently with the SWCRS or on the Thursday-Friday and Sunday-Monday surrounding the regular conference. For more information, contact the Secretary-Treasurer at the email address below.
